Gratitude Day ~ Take 7

I'm grateful for:

~Warm cookies with milk
~Fall
~Generosity from members of my ward
~Peaceful, quiet evenings
~Game nights with friends
~A home-cooked meal
~The opportunity to serve
~Cuddly, sleepy kids
~The saying, "Mommy, I love you!"
~A hard-working husband
~My husband who is my best friend
~A good sense of humor
~The scent of cinnamon in my home
~Food storage
~Visiting teachers
~The sound of children playing nicely

We all have many things in our lives to be grateful for, let us try to always count our blessings and have an attitude of gratitude in our hearts.

When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings; name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done. …
So amid the conflict, whether great or small,

Do not be discouraged; God is over all.
Count your many blessings; angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.
(Hymns, 1985, no. 241.)
