Pizzamekin

What's a pizzamekin? It's a pizzookie in a ramekin!
Freshly baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, topped with caramel and chocolate sauce. DELISH!!
This was a super easy dessert to make and a big hit with the entire family!

Family Fun at BYU

A couple of weekends ago we took the kids to BYU.
We ate at the creamery, which is so delicious!
We did a lot of walking around the campus. It was Saturday so there weren't a lot of people there which was nice for us. The kids had many snowball fights with DH while we walked around. We stopped at some of the different buildings. M wanted to go to the Art Museum so we checked that out for a little while.

They all wanted to stop at the science building. We spent quite a while in there, looking at all the fun hands-on things that they had there. S was pretty amazed at this giant crystal.

I don't remember what this thing was called but, if you stood where those 2 cute kids in the picture are standing, you could get hit by a blast of air being shot from the stairs. We spent a lot of time blasting each other with the "air gun". We even tried to blast a few unexpecting people.

We also did a little bowling. I was horrible. I've always been a horrible bowler, but the kids enjoyed it, so that's all that matters. It was a great day. We've really enjoyed having DH home on Saturdays, it's been a long time since he's had Saturdays off, we love it!

Chase Bank

DH started a new job on the 3rd! He got hired to be a bank manager for Chase Bank. He has to go through a 6 month training where he will be rotating around to different branches learning all aspects of the banking world. Then, he is guaranteed his own branch somewhere in Utah county. We are super excited. He has been looking for a new job for quite some time. Things have been pretty stressful for a while and a change was desperately needed. As he's been working and talking to people we've learned that we were truly blessed with him getting this position. He's been told that not many people get hired as a manager without having had previous banking experience. He was also told that if he hadn't had a BA he wouldn't have even been considered. Luckily he graduated last July. He was pretty nervous to start at first because he's been in the cell phone industry for about 10 years, and this is a completely different field. But, now that he's been there for a little while he is really loving it. I hope he continues to do so. This job comes with benefits, better pay, the whole deal. We are excited to start this new journey we are embarking on, thankful that we've been given this opportunity to better our situation , and hope and pray that it continues to work out well for our family.

New Years Eve/ Day Activities

We went to see "Tangled" today.
I thought it was such a cute movie. Even DH and the boys liked it.

Hanging out with friends.

We played a hilarioius game, and our friend had to let one of us draw a mustache and glasses on her face and then stay like that for the rest of the game. Another friend had to make animal sounds for 90 seconds, one had to get on his hands and knees and shake his booty at us to some music. It was so hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing. We had a blast!

14th Anniversary

We celebrated our 14th anniversary on the 27th!
I can't believe it's been that long. My parents came over and we went to the mall and then to eat at Olive Garden. The food was delish! We were going to go to a movie, but DH wasn't feeling very well, so we went home and went to bed. Nothing super exciting, but it was fun to get away and just spend time together. I feel so lucky to be married to this wonderful man and look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with him!
