Ear Candles

DH has been complaining about his ear. He feels like there is something in there. So, when I was at the health food store I bought some ear candles. I've heard these are great for getting wax out of ears and thought that might be what was bothering DH. We did it last night. It was kind of weird and kind of gross. It definitly cleaned out his ears, but unfortunately didn't help the problem. It was worth a try though.

So you went to the health food store and found some candles for ears. I am wondering if you would be able to expound a little more. When I hear ear candles I think of Shrek preparing a candle light dinner.;)

Poor R. Maybe he should see a Dr. He might have a really bad ear inf. especially since he never complains of any pain.
Hope he feels better soon.
Love you guys,

I love ear candleing/waxing. Your ears feel so super clean and it's amazing the gunk that comes out. But my sis-in-law got an ear infection after doing it.

My mom used to use these on us when we were younger! She did this to Kevin a few months ago. His ears felt so much better after. Kind of a weird looking process though!

Sorry about your hubby! :(

My husband tried to make his own ear candles after using them on his mission. He swears by them, I still think he is weird. ;)

Hi Val!! I'm so glad that you posted a comment on my blog! FYI on the ear candles...only do them once every six months if not once a year!! Heard some horror stories. If you need a good ear doc let me know. I had the best one by you.

I have never heard of those! Does it just heat the wax up so it comes out???

I was wondering the same thing as Mel. Does he know?!? I'm sure you got out the camera specifically for the blog, like I do! :) Sad to hear it didn't work though... hope he feels better soon! I know many people who swear by ear candling. Maybe there's a more serious (?) different problem then wax. Good luck with that.

I have never heard of that before!! I thought I had something in my ear once and the doctor told me to flush it out with hydrogen peroxide. We got big clump of wax out. I hope you can figure out what is wrong. That is annoying to have something weird in your ear.
