In Loving Memory

My sweet friend passed away last week. She was such an amazing person and such a fighter. I feel blessed to have known her and will miss her dearly. She was the type of person everyone wanted to be around. She always had a smile and always had such a positive attitude even when things were hard. I remember when they finally decided to amputate her leg, I was talking to her one day and told her how sorry I was. Her response was, "Oh it's no big deal, it's only a leg. It could be much worse, it could be my arm or my eyes." This was her attitude about everything. What a great example. I'm glad that she finally has peace and is without pain, but she will be missed by many.
This is a copy of her obituary.

Janeece Elizabeth Bean
BORN: October 27, 1982
DIED: August 25, 2010
LOCATION: Spanish Fork, UT
Janeece Elizabeth Bean, our beautiful Princess, returned to Heaven on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Janeece was born October 27, 1982, in Richfield, Utah to Jack and Joyce Dean. She grew up in Glenwood, Utah and graduated from Richfield High School. After graduating from high school Janeece went to U.V.U. where she graduated with an Associate’s degree.
Janeece married her eternal companion, Joshua Michael Bean on June 7, 2003 in the Manti LDS Temple. They became the parents of two wonderful children, Alivia 6, and Logan 3. Her greatest joy was being their mother.
She faithfully and lovingly served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Young Women’s program.
Of her many talents and accomplishments, foremost was her love of music. Her angelic voice complimented her skills as a pianist. She used these talents to bring happiness to all around her, and especially to little girls for whom she created magical moments through her Cinderella birthday parties. Even as an adult, she retained a sense of childhood wonder when she became Cinderella for them.
For all of her outward beauty, she was even lovelier on the inside. In the relatively short amount of time she had with us, she lived life to the fullest. She touched the hearts of all who knew her through her valiant final struggle. She never gave up and always kept a positive outlook on life.
Janeece is survived by her husband, her children, her parents, Jack and Joyce Dean of Glenwood, her siblings, Richard (Dawn) of Hooper, Jackie (John) Harward of West Jordan, Joelle (Preston) Parker of Joseph, James of Ogden , and Dusty (Shikara) of Joseph. Also by her parents in law, Greg and Patrice Bean. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Ida Brown, and Harvey and Blanche Dean.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 30 at the Glenwood, Utah LDS Ward Chapel at 12:00pm. There will be a viewing on August 29, 2010 at the Walker Family Mortuary at Spanish Fork, Utah from 6:00-8:00 pm; with another viewing on August 30, 2010 at the Glenwood, Utah LDS Ward House from 9:30-11:30am.
Josh, Livi, and Logan would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the loving attention given to Janeece by all the family, friends, and medical workers who rallied around her during these difficult times.
In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses can be made at any Mountain America Credit Union under the Janeece Bean Memorial Account.
Even though cancer took her from our lives, it could never take her from our hearts.

What an example to so many! So sad to see someone die so young. Cancer is a beast. I hope her family is feeling some comfort in this hard time.
