"24"

Last night DH and I were trying to find something good to watch. Right now there is nothing on because of the writer's strike. We've had the first season of "24" sitting in our video cabinet for about a year and have never seen even one episode. So, at about 9:30ish we decided to watch the first episode. Before we knew it, it was 12:45 and we had watched four episodes. We are hooked! I can't believe we've never watched this before, it's just the kind of show we like. Now, we have a lot of catching up to do. I can't wait to see what Jack will do next!

Oh my Gosh! I love 24! Best show ever! I am still mad that they are basically "skipping" this season because of the strike and doing it instead next season. Bummer. But it is so good and so much action! LOVE IT!

That is SO funny! I actually have never seen the show, but I've heard it's excellent. Mainly, today, for me, has included a lot of looking around thinking "I just picked up this place last night, what on earth happened??". I'm wading through the mess, 3 rooms down, 3 to go! Let us know how you like the rest of the series, I might just have to check it out along with you!

See, this is why I don't watch any new shows...I just know I'll be hook, line and sinker before long! Thanks for the temptation. Lol!

I am so glad I finally started watching 24--I had to back up and start from Season 1. I would watch for hours!!!! It is a great show, and I am looking forward to next September when they finally start the next season.

oh man, we love 24 at our house! We are currently waiting for the next new season to air. I hear it won't be back on until next year though... at least that gives you time to catch up!

I just ran across your blog from someone else's link.. (yay for UT moms!)Anyway, my husband and I pulled 2 all nighters (seriously no sleep AT ALL) watching those 24 DVDs and caught up to the current season in a matter of a couple of months. Sick, right? BUT WE LOVED IT! We want to start over with Season 1 all over again. It just gets better!!

I love 24! I rent the DVD's (no TV reception) and I watch them in one week. yikes! They are somewhat addicting.

So far, season 3 is my favorite!

I've heard it's awesome, but that it's like LOST. You can't just start watching it, you've gotta go from the beginning...right? Well, if this writer's strike goes on any longer, I'll have plenty of time to catch up before the next season starts :)

Yep...everyone LOVES 24. I don't ever sit and watch it, but Dame is totally into it and I just follow it as I am walking around the house doing chores :)

My son owns every season of 24, so Hubby borrowed them, and we pretty much did the same thing as you and your DH did, haha! How do you turn it off and go to bed at a decent hour, when you can watch "just one more episode?" :D

I have never watched much of this show but I have heard that it is great. We are watching the first couple of seasons of Without a trace right now so maybe 24 will be next.

Jack Bauer is awesome, although his life makes me sad. I will not reveal anymore...:(

I heard Kiefer Sutherland interviewed on the radio and they made him say "GIVE ME A NAME!!" It was funny.

Sei watched all of season one when I was big pregant with Liv. I'd be sleeping on the couch so I could hear the whole thing. I had that clock thing sound in my dreams.

I haven't watched 24, but I'm sure I would be hooked if I did. I've heard it is a great series.

I've heard of that show's addictive qualities and have managed to avoid it so far. I just hate being left hanging waiting for the next installment of things. And just like the Twilight books, I'm sure I will eventually fall!
