To Live With Him Someday

I had to give the Relief Society lesson yesterday. I really get nervous whenever I have to teach anyone except primary children. I guess I just feel like I'm inadequate for the job. My lesson yesterday actually turned out pretty good, at least I thought it did. We talked about how it isn't enough to just know the things we are supposed to do so that we can live with our Father in heaven again. We have to actually DO these things, like; pay our tithing, read the scriptures, fulfill our callings, obey the commandments. The plan of salvation is a wonderful thing. He made it possible for all of us to be able to return to him if we do those things he's asked of us. Someone made the comment that the gospel is a simple thing, it's just not always easy. I'm trying really hard to do the things the Lord has commanded so that I can live with him someday.

I love Relief Society. I think teaching RS is one of my most favorite callings. Not that I am a fantastic teacher, I just love learning and then being able to teach what I have learned. I feel much more comfortable in front of women then children. Don't know why?? My new calling is in the nursery. :D

That looked like a great lesson. I wish I could have been there for it.

That's true that the Gospel really is simple. It's also true that my life is simple when I'm doing those basic things, but I'm still not very consistent for some reason.

I'll bet your lesson was great! :)
