Ready, Set, Go

Okay, so today it starts. I'm officially starting my diet and no more excuses. I was looking at pictures of myself from 2 years ago, and I was much thinner. I can't believe I've gained so much weight. It's quite depressing actually. But, it also gave me major motivation. So, here I go. I've got 60 pounds to lose, so it'll be a long haul, but I'm ready to try!!

Good luck! It's all about willpower for me. I stayed small all my grown up years and then after my first son I started to go through hard times and gained a lot of weight... I was able to lose 60+ lbs in 4 months and stayed consistantly smaller than I was in my early years! Well, now I'm pregnant, but knowing I never want to be overweight again, I really have to focus on everything that goes in my mouth :-) I also took up running and that was key for me.
Anyway, you can do it and keep the pictures for motivation!!

I think you look great! You will be radiant no matter if you lose 2lbs or 30lbs. Best wishes on fulfilling your goal!

I'm with you! I've started a new diet/exercise plan too. We can try to help motivate each other! :)

We spent New Year's at my parents' looking through old photos. I am also appalled at how thin I was when hubby and I met! I know it is now 3 kids later, but I still have some work to do!

Maybe we should have a club. My goal is 50 lbs. I can't believe I let myself go this far. We should start a support blog!

Alright, I'm a couple of days late, but I'm ready now as well. I'd like to lose at least 30, but preferable 40.
