Homework

As my kids get older and I have more of them in school, I find that homework takes longer and longer. Sometimes I feel like it's more work for the parent than the student. I did homework for 2 hours today. T is learning multiplication tables right now and is kind of having a hard time with them. I remember hating to learn those. They are kind of a pain. S is learning to read and is very excited about that. I hope that he always has the desire to read and learn.

I'm not looking forward to helping with math homework. I remember my own parents having a hard time helping me with it!

Oh that just stinks... and it seems the kids have a LOT more homework these days at such a young young age!

I agree about it being more work for the parents!!! Sometimes I wonder why teachers give kids so much homework and why it's something they can't to on their own. I'm not looking forward to all the hard math once they're in high school. My hubby will have to help them then...
