Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we have a very fun tradition with DH's family. We all went to Grandma D.'s house for dinner, games, and fun. For dinner we always have hogi sandwiches on croissants, "pink stuff", nachos, veggies, and lots of goodies. And of course we always stuff ourselves. The food is always very yummy, and we look forward to it every year.

Then we usually have some sort of a Christmas program. Grandma did it this year and each person had a part. We read the Christmas story and sang songs in between certain parts. It was very nice and I think all the kids really enjoyed it. Our cousins also did a little presentation on the different symbols of Christmas.

We got to open our traditional Christmas Eve present of p.j.'s, which everyone always looks forward to. Then, we all changed and got comfy to enjoy the rest of the evening. We put a movie on for the kids hoping that they would settle down, so the adults could play a game. What were we thinking? Kids settling down on Christmas Eve? Fat chance. So, they ran amuck while we played Apples to Apples. Very fun. Then we ate again and finally decided to go.

So fun... makes me wish my parents and in-laws were in AZ not Utah. Glad you had a good time!
