Yesterday was my 10th Anniversary. I can not believe we've been married for 10 years. Some days it seems like a lot longer and other days it's hard to believe it's been that long. I feel so blessed to married to such a wonderful man. He's my best friend. Being married to him is the best thing that has ever happened to me. We get along so well. We hardly ever fight, which I'm so grateful for. If we are ever frustrated with each other, DH usually cracks some joke and I can't help but laugh. He really keeps things light.

I was going to BYU and wasn't planning on coming home for the summer. But, at the last minute I decided to go home for the month of August. This was when he came home from his mission. I knew him just barely and wouldn't have even known he was coming if I hadn't run into his brother at the mall. I told him to have DH stop by and say hi. Well, he did and we hit it off right away. We went on our first date and talked to each other every day on the phone (he lived 45 minutes away from my parents' home).

The next week I was going back to BYU and he was going to Ricks College in Idaho. We drove up together and I went to see him on the weekends. Three weeks into dating we were engaged. All my friends thought I was crazy and way too young to be married. I was only 18, but that didn't matter to me. When you know you found the person you want to spend eternity with, then the rest didn't matter. I was also told that it probably wouldn't last. Well, here we are 10 years later and more in love than ever.

Three months after we were engaged, we were married in the Los Angeles Temple for time and all eternity. We had a fast engagement and continued at high speed. We had four kids in five years and I've never felt more satisfied in my life. My kids bring us much laughter and joy, also much headache! DH is a wonderful father. The kids just adore him. He works hard for our family which means he is sometimes gone a lot. So when he is home the kids are all over him.

I feel more and more grateful each day for the man I'm married to. I couldn't have asked for anyone or anything more. I'm grateful for the wonderful 10 years we've had together and look forward to many more!!
