More Oregon Fun

Oregon was such a blast!! We did a ton of fun things like swimming,

going to Six Flags in and watching the dolphins,

riding lots of rides,

hanging out with cousins,

and friends,

and getting wet.

We went to a water park

and got plenty of sun.

We spent time dancing,

rockin' out,

puttinig on plays,

going to a squirt park,

having a water balloon fight,

and enjoying some lunch.
The kids all had a wonderful time with their cousins. I think they made some wonderful memories that they will always cherish. It was so great to be able to spend time with family!

M turned 11!

We celebrated M's11th birthday in Oregon. She had a lot of fun. Her "aunts" gave her some money to go on a shopping spree with her big cousin Emma. They had a lot of fun together, and got some really cute stuff. That evening we had a family dinner, opened gifts, and had cake. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She is such a sweet girl and is always looking out for others. I feel blessed to be her mother. She is an amazing daughter!

Medford Oregon Temple

I went to the temple yesterday, and it was wonderful. It was so peaceful and renewing. I love that I can go to any temple and feel loved by the people there and to be able to bring myself closer to the Lord. What a wonderful place to be!

Boating

Today we went boating, What a blast!!

J really wanted to drive, so she got a small turn.

S also got a turn at the wheel.

Emma and J on the tube.

Jared with Josh and T!

Chillin' on the boat with Aaron.

Girlies
We had tons of fun on the boat today. We did a lot of tube runs in many different combinations. Jared and I went out together. I was a little nervous at first, I always get that way, but it ended up being a blast! We went a couple times, and then let the kids go and go and go!

Silly Girls

Cute,
crazy,

silly!

These 3 are having such a blast together.

Oregon Caves, Oregon Coast, and Pizza

Yesterday was such a busy day. We started off driving to the Oregon caves.
This root is inside the caves. It is the longest root in the world. CRAZY!

Some stalagmites inside the cave. They call this formation the banana groves. Kind of funny.

After that we jumped back in our cars, and headed to the coast. The water was freezing, but it surely didn't stop S. I think he was the only one who went all the way in.

It's gorgeous there.
It was very windy which wasn't too wonderful, but we all still had a great time!

Cute girls!

T found some kind of disgusting thing and pretended to eat it.

Girl cousins, enjoying some water.

Once we were done with the wind and cold water, we went out and ate some delicious pizza!

Sunday Activities

We had a very nice Sunday. Everyone went to Justin & Tiffany's house for dinner.
All the kiddos sat outside in different areas all over the backyard. These 3 boys have been getting along so nicely. It's been fun spending time with all our "Oregon" cousins.

The "big" kids.

The "smaller" kids.

Before we went to the dinner we spent a few peaceful areas at home after church. The Bishop (Damian) had asked everyone to go home and right a letter. We chose to write to Grandma and Papa. I was surprised at how much they enjoyed this. Maybe we need to write more often.

S spent some time playing all by himself. He has always enjoyed a little personal quiet time. I think it's good for him. He has so much energy all the time, and I think this is a way for hime to relax and unwind. I think I need a little more personal quiet time for myself!

These two cuties played house upstairs for a long time.

Sarah and Ben writing their letter. I love Ben, he is such a sweet, cute little guy!

The kids have really enjoyed making friendship bracelets. they have quite a few made and there is always string all over the house. Everyone seems to be getting along and having a great time. I only wish my sweet hubby was able to come with us. Darn work!

4th of July Celebrations!

On Friday we had our first celebration. We went over to the Ashton's and roasted some hot dogs in their fun new fire pit. The cousins had such a great time together.

After we ate, the girls made super cute hair flowers, and the boys ran around being boys.

Once it was dark, the fireworks show began. They had a big turnout from all their friends and neighbors. There was yummy food and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

T and Josh got to help light some of the fireworks, which they thought was pretty darn cool!

After the "Ashton Stadium of Fire" was over, the kids had some fun with sparklers. J got burnt on the ear, which wasn't too fun. But other than that the night was a huge success!

Some more sparkler fun!

Then, Saturday we drove to Oregon and made it there in time for another fireworks show!
Once again there were lots of people there and there was lots of fun to be had!
Tonight we let the kids do more sparklers, since today is the actual 4th of July!
