A Little Bit on T
He's been busy playing Futsal (indoor soccer), for the last 2 months, is loving it. He plays games 2 nights a week, and has practice one night a week. He is really playing well!
For Science the kids had to make an "Ice Melt Box", which is a container that holds ice. The goal was to see whose box would keep the ice solid the longest. T's box won! It took like 4 hours before his ice cube melted. He was pretty excited, and came up with his box all on his own! He's a pretty great kid!

Icebreaker Tournament

The real reason we went to St. George was for a soccer tournament, all the fun was just an added bonus. The Icebreaker Tournament was this weekend. T's team did awesome. They came in 4th in their division, which is amazing. T really came alive this weekend. He was right in the action all the time. He really has improved in his soccer skills this last year. It's such a rewarding thing watching your kids succeed. He had some great moves and even scored!

Tap Class
I went to a tap class last night with my friend Judy. It was SO much fun. I haven't been to a class since I was married. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to do it anymore, but I actually picked it up pretty quickly. There were a few things that I couldn't do anymore, but hopefully if I keep going I'll be able to pick it up again. I forgot how much I love to tap!

Since I'm posting old pictures...
"The Three Musketeers"These 3 are best buds. They have lots and lots of energy.
All the girlies.
S had a loose toothe and kept asking everyone to try and pull it. He insisted that it didn't hurt. He found some pliers, and asked my friend Lori to give it a try. So, she did. But it didn't come out. A few days later, T got it out. S came downstairs with a bloody mouth and a big smile. He said, "Mom T pulled out my tooth!" He was so happy. This tooth has been loose since September when he fell at school and knocked his tooth loose on the playground equipment. I asked T how he got it out, and he said that he held S's head with his arm (kind of like a headlock), and then just pulled and pulled until it came out. What a good brother?!!!?February 7, 2010

A Tooth and Some Glasses
I took M to the dentist yesterday because Tuesday night she had been complaining about a tooth ache. I looked in her mouth and didn't see anything, so I gave her some Tylenol and sent her to bed. In the morning I asked how she was feeling. She said she was a little better but now there was a bump in her mouth. When I looked in her mouth in the morning a saw a huge bump with an infection. Great. So, I called the dentist to get her an appointment. We went in and the dentist told us the best way to take care of it would be to pull it since it was a baby molar. I kind of figured that was what they would do. They number her up, well at least they tried. The infection was so bad that they couldn't really numb the area well enough, but he pulled the tooth anyways. My poor little M was in some major pain. She tried to be so brave, but the tears just kept coming. When we got in the car she asked if she could have a drink from Sonic. How could I say no to that? When we got home, she laid in my bed for almost 2 hours. Poor girl. But, on a positive note, the tooth fairy was on time again!! She sure is getting good!
Today I took M and T to the eye dr. T needed a check up and M had been complaining that she was having a hard time seeing the board in class. T was fine, no change, needs to keep wearing his glasses for reading. M, however had big changes in her eyesight in the last year. She definitly needs glasses. She doesn't need to wear them all the time, but she does need to wear them most of the time in the classroom. She picked out a super cute pink pair. Kind of like the ones in this picture, but the pink is a little darker and there are stripes, not circles. I think she looks pretty cute in them. Fun times for M!
