On Friday my left leg started to really hurt in the calf area. I thought nothing of it. Then, on Monday when it was still hurting I started to get a little bit worried, because I couldn't remember doing anything to it. I called a sister in the ward who is a nurse and she told me I probably should go to the doctor to have it checked out. When I got to the appt. the doctor told me to go straight to the hospital to have an ultrasound done because it could possibly be a blood clot. I had called my MIL and she made us dinner and watched the kids while I went to the doctor, when I called her to tell her I had to go to the hospital she wanted to come with me. At first I said that she didn't have to, but in the end I was glad she was there. We took the kids over to their aunt's house and headed for the hospital. We were there for about 2 hours, it always seems to take forever to get anything done there. The ultrasound took about 30 minutes because they had to do the entire leg. Luckily nothing was wrong. I always hate going when it ends up being nothing, but I guess it was better to know. Now I get ANOTHER bill I have to pay, aaaahhhh!

Oh how scary!! I am so glad that you are okay and that they didn't find anything.
So glad to hear it wasn't a blood clot.
Blood clots are so dangerous-sometimes fatal...I am so glad you are okay. What a pain about the bill, though! Hey...you and your sis and mom were in my dream last night. Funny, huh?
Ugh! Glad it wasn't what you thought.
well... bummer about having to go to the hospital and wait and having hospital bills, but so glad it was nothing serious!
I am so sorry! In December I went in for chest pain. Yeah, every stinkin' test they could possibly do, was done. Nothing. I was so mad! And my husband didn't let me live down the horrible bill.
