Target Shooting

The Young Women went target shooting for their activity this week.  Jo has pretty good aim.  What a fun activity for the girls.  I would like to give it a try sometime.  I've never been shooting, I wonder how I'd do?

I'm so glad my girls have such good leaders who take some much time to prepare fun activities, who love them, and who want the best for them!

Fiesta Days 2016

Today was our famous Fiesta Days parade.
Kenz danced in it again with the drill team.  She's been dancing in parades since 3rd grade, I can hardly believe this is her last one.

Kenzie and Tamsen

After the parade we had a bbq with some friends and then came home and took naps.  After we all woke up went to get some yummy shaved ice.
Spencer went to the movies with his friend and Tanner went to the reservoir.  In the evening, Ry and I ran errands, went out to dinner with Tanner, and then the kids all went to enjoy the fireworks!

The perfect way to cool off on a hot hot day!

7 Peaks Fun

We've been enjoying a few days at 7 Peaks here and there.  We didn't get passes last year, but decided to get them this year.  We don't go super often, but when we do it's fun.  I love spending time in the warm sun and then cooling off in the water.  These beauties had a good day together.

Enjoying Life

Jo loves to cook and has been dying to go make homemade chicken & noodles with Grandma Davies.  She went over the other day and they made that plus this yummy Italian lemon pound cake.  Everything was delicious!  Jo is becoming quite good at making this meal, she loves it!  And, so do the rest of us.  I'd be perfectly happy if she wanted to make it for us from time to time.  So lucky that she has such a wonderful grandma who enjoys spending time with her and making memories!

We love Sunday game days!  We've been playing games with the Huntingtons' for a long time.  It's so easy to get together with them.  The kids all get along, we get along, we enjoy each other very much, we snack together, laugh together, and hope to continue doing so for many years to come!

One of my best friends from high school came to visit with her cute family.  I love them so much!  Tara is such a wonderful mom and best friend.  Even though we don't see each other often or talk as much as we should, we have a special bond that will never be broken.  Here we are sitting with our mini me's.  I'm so so glad they were able to stop by and spend some time with us.

Our first borns hanging out together.

No visit is complete without a quick game of basketball!

Spencer has his permit and always want to drive.  Tanner made sure to buckle up while he rode in the back seat of the car while his younger brother was behind the wheel:)

Reservoir Fun

We spent a fun afternoon with family at the reservoir, enjoying the sun, playing soccer, eating snow cones, and watching the little run about.

My little Jo!

The boys decided that Jo needed to cool off!
And then it didn't end there, they tried to get Greg and Clayton in the water too.  So grateful for family that enjoys spending time together.

HAPPEE BIRTHDAY KENZ!

Kenz is a big Harry Potter fan and wanted her cake to be like Harry's cake that Hagrid made for him.  Jo made it and I think it turned out pretty darn good.  It tasted yummy too!

Tanner's Day

On July 5th we went to the Payson Temple with Tanner so he could take out his endowments.  What a special day.  When we were driving there, I thought it was going to be so weird with him in the temple with us, but it was just PERFECT!  Seeing him there all dressed in white was amazing.

I'm so thankful for temples.  For the promises and covenants we make within the walls of the House of the Lord.  For the knowledge that families can be together forever.  What a blessing to us.  I need to get to the temple more often.  The peace I feel there is something I need more of in my life.  I'm so glad we got to spend that beautiful day with Tanner and that he has kept himself worthy to partake in the blessings of the temple!

Afterwards we went to IHOP for some yummy food!
Loved spending time with family and am so grateful that they wanted to share in Tanner's special day!

4th of July 2016

We celebrated the 4th with the hubby's side of the family!
We BBQ'd and watched Kyle give a lovely firework display!

With my cute girlies, and yes I'm wearing the same firework shirt!
I have to get all the use out of it that I can:)

Everyone is all ready for the fun to begin!

Mom

Last week we celebrated this beautiful lady's birthday!
My mom is a wonderful mom.  She always has the best of interest of all her kids' at heart.  She's kind, caring, sweet, a lover of babies, a wonderful seamstress, always willing to serve, spiritual, loving, a great game player, and much more.  How blessed I am each day knowing that she will always have my back no matter what.  Love you to the moon and back Mom!

Fireworks and Fun

My sister and her family came to visit!  I love, love, love when they are here.  We went to 7 peaks in the morning and then headed over to the temple grounds for a day of fun and an evening of fireworks!

Cute cousins!

Some of the boys!

Lana is always on the ball and taking pictures, so I often "steal" from her:)  For whatever reason, this is one of my faves of the day.  Just family enjoying time together!

We had plenty of games, coloring books, footballs, frisbies, food, and fun to keep us busy for the afternoon while we anxiously awaited the fireworks!

It was a great day to spend outside, not too hot.

Marshall is such a little man, I love it!
Lana is such a fun sister!
Actually all of  my sisters are.  I wish they were all there!

What a great group of cousins, Aunt Andrea, and Uncle Yoho!

Reggie and Noah enjoyed playing "Pretty Pretty Princess" with the girls!
